heroism is multidimensional

Nintendo doesn't set the bar for art and gameplay — it is the bar. Stylized worlds, fantastic cultures, and difficult mechanics populate their portfolio. This is even true in difficult 2D games from the 90s.

The company's real strength, however, lies in its translation of core concepts to 3D systems. Exploration, discovery, and distilled heroism punctuate every title. Storytelling elements aren't lost in polygons. Instead, they're enhanced.

2D to 3D

Titles like Ocarina of TimeSuper Mario 64, and even Metroid Prime show Nintendo's journey to 3D platforming mastery. Inspired communities and internal gurus hopped onboard to create a merchandising juggernaut. Even so, some niche interests are missed. That's why we're here.

mkljfox44 and ogWalker created their own 3D homage to The Legend of Zelda, but with a twist. It's not a fan game or DIY sculpt — it's a keycap set. Produced by GMK, which is essentially the Nintendo of keysets, Hero offers another way to bask in gaming lore.

bold deskmats

Sometimes enthusiasts forget about deskmats. They weather mouse movements, spills, and impacts that would leave custom keyboards in pieces (or at least pretty scratched up). The unsung hero that keeps your equipment safe can look spectacular too; check them out here!
