The IDOBAO ID80 LAVA is a fully-customized mechanical keyboard that enhances your typing and gaming performance in a compact layout. With a 75% layout, gasket design, and ironically overstated legends, it's a premium keyboard that offers a premium yet unique experience.

The deliberately labeled keycaps are sure to bring a smile to any enthusiasts' face with their literal and ironic legends. The keys and body are translucent to give a unique look and really make the RGB lighting shine. This board is nicknamed LAVA for it's default glowing red and black theme, but the lights can be customized to any colors through the QMK/VIA firmware.

The hot-swappable PCB supports 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches for easy changing without soldering. With full QMK and VIA support, each and every key can be programmed and remapped with ease. The open source firmware offers endless possibilities for layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more. The "south-facing" RGB per key backlights are designed to provide more light than traditional backlights, even when non-shine-through keycaps are installed.

Designed with a double gasket structure, the board features silicone pads between the gaskets, top case, and bottom case to significantly reduce the sound resonance between the components and greatly improve the overall typing sound. All-new screw stabilizers are more stable and less wobbly than older designs, creating a much smoother experience when using the "big keys" (space bar, shift, enter, delete). Third party stabilizers (such as Cherry and Durock) are also supported.
